Possible Quest Spoilers

I have done the quest (a long time ago) that caused you to be thrown into Cidna mine.... like... forever ago. All of a sudden starting in my last play through the guards have gone back to the point in that quest where I have been framed. So I say "throw me in jail" and they just walk off... or...

Sometimes they will try and kill me.

So the only way I can get around it is A) just don't go there, which svcks or Load up an old save and return to option A, which svcks.

There is no way out, since the quest is complete, they wont take me, but since the game thinks the quest is active I can't walk free in the city. I don't even commit any crimes, they just up and try to arrest me like in the quest. Any idea on how to fix this?



Also... I can't invest in the Orc Blacksmith there... why not?
