I'm playing on a PC. I can enchant and disenchant. I have arcane blacksmith too. Smithing skill is up to 73.
When I try to recharge a magic item, I select item and "T" pops up to charge it. Not only can I not select a filled soul gem, but pressing the T key does nada.
Is there any chance you re-mapped the "T" key? There is a known issue (unless it's been fixed; I'm not sure), where re-mapped keys continue to display the default "key hint" on-screen. I.e. it might say T for recharge, you actually re-mapped to some other key then forgot you re-mapped it?
Do you have any filled soul gems in your inventory?
Yes I do have filled soul gems in my inventory. And yes, I did assign T to another function, but changed it back to its original function. All I have are filled Greater soul gems, Grand soul gems, etc. No black ones as yet.
Hmm, wierd. Maybe there's a bug where remapping the recharge function then re-mapping it back doesn't restore it correctly? You might try renaming the .ini file for the game, and letting skyrim generate a new, default one, to see if that fixes it?
