When i was around level 25 and i visited River Wood, i was attacked by a dragon and in the process, one of the NPC' (Arval the blacksmith) got killed by the dragon obviously. I'm at round 50 now and every time i visit River Wood, the blacksmith still lies on the ground. Same thing in Markarth. There are dead body's of Fornsworn thug's allover the place. I sthat a normal occurence in The Elder Scroll games or is it a bug?

There is no such thing as killing a Draugr! they are already death.

They're undead.

some bodies will not dissapear because they are related to a quest of some kind (i think, it was like tha in FO iirc, not sure about skyrim) either that or a glitch

maybe go put them in a safe resting position out of repect, or just to clean up the streets


but ye i always drag bodies into a safe location or throw them in the river or sumthing
i cant stand walking around and just having bodies litter the streets

My Khajiit killed Birna, in her shop, and the two guards who came to help her. The guards have been tidied away but, Birna still lies there inside the door and her shop still gets restocked every time I loot it.

I guess it is just a disrespect for the recently dead, because there is a lot of Draugrs in the crypts. You'd think they'd move the body just for the stink, but it doesn't seem like the dead decay in the first place.
