So what's good about Skyrim and what's not?

For me, the good is just about everything. The graphics, the sound (Best music ever), and the gameplay. But I do have one complaint, the cities. They're so tiny! I mean in Oblivion, sure you had to walk through like 3 sections of a city to get where you were going, but they were so huge! Not only that, there were full of NPC's and shops, in skyrim, there are like 3 shops in Whiterun, which is supposed to be the trading Capitol of skyrim. Weird huh?

Well whiterun had like 3 major shops but had like 3 or 4 trading stands and 2 weapon smiths so its fair to say trading city.

good: Aesthetics, character choices (10 unique races!), a large world with lots of explorable content, a unique character customization system.

Bad: Bugs (PS3 suffers the worst.) Storyline is pretty basic and some more reactions would help, the character customization system still has some kinks in it (worthless to put perk points in lockpicking, destruction underperforms compaired to other damage oriented skill.)

Skyrim has fit comfortably into my top 5 games, but it certainly isn't without its flaws. I agree 100% about the "cities," it seems like guards outnumber actual occupants, and I can count the number of homes on my fingers. I'm really hoping that the first expansion will feature a city-- a real city that's actually large and fully populated.

I like the hugeness of the playfield.......the side quests are cool to play(extending playtime) and the ability to go rogue and be the nastiest outlaw you can imagine

the bugs are the worse......its allmost criminal to release a game KNOWING major bugs exist.....i guess money IS the root of all evil..........

Good: the world. There is so much to do, so much to explore, so many caves. It looks really pretty too. I'd say the gameplay is generally really good too, it's a pleasure to just walk around Skyrim, gather some ingredients and take in the atmosphere.

Bad: the storyline is pretty basic, could've been better. Choices you make don't really influence much in the game. Bugs and freezes (I hope 1.4 will fix the majority of problems).

Yeah, other than the cities, my other complaint is that your actions have no effect on the game world.

Some of the main cities should be bigger, the guild quests could have been a lfew quests longer, and the bugs that break my game like quest breaking ones. (The minor funny bugs I like though. lol) Everything else about the game I like.
