Graphic card not recognized

Ugh. Just when I almost have everything figured out. I had a low framerate issue but figured out the problem (CPU is only 1.6 GHz but needs to run for a few to get the TurboBoost above the recommended 2 GHz). I installed a couple of mods (Imp's more complex needs, vanilla reduced textures, and Frostfall) and it was running fine. Then, I installed Skyrim Improved overhaul and my game would not boot up. It would make it past the Bethesda screen but when the Skyrim logo came up it booted me out of the game and gave an error message. I did some research and some people recommended updating my driver software (I was running the 12.6 Beta driver for my GPU). So I uninstalled my video card from Device Manager and now it won't recognize it. I tried to update the software through AMD but it can't detect my video card. Please help! Thanks

P.S. This is such a hassle trying to get Skyrim to run well on my PC. I was so close and now I'm so frustrated!

Specs:

Windows 7 64 bit
ATI Radeon HD 5730
Intel i7 @ 1.6 GHz (with TurboBoost up to 2.8 GHz)

Thanks
