They are the master race. Who doesn't want to be a sixy lizard man or lady?

Or go pure 2 handed barbarian. Because really, its not like you can't level up those two handed / armor skills.

Histskin is THE BOMB on a melee fighter. Having the best starting lockpick skill possible is rather handy, loot wise. Whats not to like?

J'zargo would argue otherwise.

They are the master race.
True dat.

@OP: Argonians are supposedly naturals when it comes to magick even though technically they don't get any class bonuses in any related skill trees. That said, although you'd technically be at no starting advantage, in a purely RP scenario I wouldn't say you'd be out of your element either.

So, magick in combination with light armor, one handed, sneak, and lockpick should be a pretty good combo. That's what I use, anyway.

Fur wins for being fluffy, and having J'zargo on its side.

Orc Berzerk is super overpowered

Dragon downed in 3 secs on master

IMO, Argonians have the worst starting bonuses, but w/e. If they were immune to poison like other TES games, they'd be awesome. As it is, they are certainly the worst race, IMO. OTOH, Histskin does sound more useful than some other racial powers.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, the game isn't hard. Should be more fun with a little more challenge.

Argonians have a unique and fascinating Lore and they Look cool. Thats pretty much it imo. They all look exactly the same except for color and feathers for the most part. There are very subtle differences that you have to look for. I like what Bethesda has done to the races this time. Well not the racial bonuses or powers but that is a different story...

I like Dunmer more but that is just me.

I'm a Breton because it was the closest thing I could make resemble how I actually look :{P~

I've never played anything other than a human in games that let you pick a race. Guess I'm just boring. Or vain. Perfectly human traits, either way :]

I like going with whatever strengths the character has. Like make a dark elf destruction mage, since they have a destruction bonus, or a high elf mage, or whatever whatever, because they are whatever.

But it svcks because the game is too easy.

So far, I have an Imperial paladin, Orc warrior, high elf mage.

In MMORPGs, it's always cool to see someone roll against the grain. Picking a high elf warrior or something, because they look so unique in heavy armor... for example.

I kind of admire it, but I can't help going with the grain; it's just me.
