I'm making a character similar to an Aragorn archtype. Focusing on heavy armor, speechcraft, healing alchemy, block, smithing.

My biggest decision has come over what weapon type to use. I played a character into his mid 40s using two-hand, and it is fun but I'm tempted to try 1H.

Also is there any possibility of using both 2h and 1h/shield as I level, or would I be gimping my damage output by allocating points into both? I figured that because I'm only using 6 skills and not even taking every point in each tree this is plausible..thoughts?

I don't think Aragorn uses "Heavy Armor" since he is one of the Dunédain, who are basically dressed in ragged coats with some Light Armor under it providing protection.

Other than that, I don't know a plausible solution for that skill tree thingy-point you are talking about.
