Should I start a new character? Or continue my level 30

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 6:02 am

Hey guys :)

I need some advice

I have a level 30ish Nord warrior (Has around 95 Two Handed and 60 Heavy armor)
He has finished the Mainquest, Companions, and the Stormcloak campaign as a Worshipper of Talos and Unstoppable knight.

Should I go ahead and let him finish up the Stealth guilds (TG/DB) or start a new character?
  • I enjoy roleplaying
  • I want to make my experience the best I can
  • I don't care how long it takes
  • I want a challenge
  • I have yet to make a Mage.
  • I'm a console player...if that makes any changes..

IF you are a roleplayer,Create a new character just for the stealth guilds :) Also create a Pure mage.
Thats what i think you should do,what race do you want to play as?

Yes, work with new characters. My Nord warrior is at level 43 or so, and is almost finished with the Companions Quests. Once done with that, he's gonna do the Main Quest and retire.

At which point I will take a brief break, finish up Mass Effect 2, then come back and create Sauron Jr. - real name still to be determined.

I like making a character and playing for hundreds of hours on him or her.

I roleplay as well, but my main character I make I have logged in about two thousand hours in Oblivion and Morrowind. Two thousand for each game.

It depends on if your bored with your character if you are make a new one.

Yeah that's probably want I'm going to do, is make a new guy.
As for race? Eh... I might do one of the elves. I've played nords all the way from Morrowind (and Daggerfall, but that didnt last long) I always have trouble creating my character. I'm actually glad they got rid of the class/birthsign system because in Oblivion ... well I can take up to hours getting out of the Sewers :D In Oblivion, I've played everything at least 10 times. That's probably an understatement.

I recommend fresh character.

Your 2 handed heavy armored warrior would just not really fit in well trying to be sneaky and an assassin.

You could ABANDON your 2hand weapons and heavy armor.... but then... why not just start a new character?

create a new character. I think it's funner that way. My spellsword did College, Bards.,some of the Jarls and some exploring of course. ( retired )

Pure Warrior has done companions and will be doing MQ and some of the Jarls.

Thief/assassin for TG and DB and deadric quests.

It's easier for me to RP like this, each Char is different. So I am playing two of them on a roatating basis.

i used to try and do everything with one character but no longer do it because the fresh roleplay is so fun. grinding a do all character becomes very dull.

as well, you can keep a couple character saves if you want to pick it up at a later date after roleplaying numerous different characters to enjoy all the different gameplay styles.

If you think it's gonna be more fun, then go right ahead. I'm thinking about retiring my current stealth character and starting fresh with a magic user.

Note: He's already completed the Thieves Guild, Companions, Dark Brotherhood and the main story questlines.

Exactly. A new character is a great thing. Start fresh.

Exactly. No point in making one character do everything. By making a new character you get to start fresh.

Awesome  I'm actually in the process of finishing Mass Effect 1.

Then hop to it!

Oh, and you know how the story missions in ME1 are great but the side missions are generally horrible, with cookie-cutter hallways just mixed and matched to make "new" maps? Yeah, when I realized how bad the side missions were in ME1, I quit doing them (money is worthless, anyway) and went right through the story missions.

In ME2, however, you'll want to do ALL the missions, because they fixed it so they're all good. I'd be done by now, except I want to finish all the loyalty missions, and probably all the missions altogether, then finish the story.

Yes, I have decided on making a new character. Now I'm in the process of selecting race and moral backround.

I love hitting the "continue" button, so I'd have to play one at a time lol. Thanks for reminding me, I have to do the Daedric quests also! I love those so much
