Erik the Slayer was my follower when I started an early Companions Drinks, and when one of the wolf boys joined me as a scripted part of the quest, it said "Your companion has replaced your follower," and Erik left.

I figured I would just pick him up back in Rorikstead later - but it's been ages now, and he never reappeared there. He's not at Jorvaskurr where he left me either - I'm at a loss.

Is this a problem anyone else has encountered? Or does Erik sometimes return somewhere other than the Rorikstead inn?
