my orc came across three imperials taking a nord prisoner who was probably going to be executed or tortured or both. i sympathized with the nord people. i thought about the poor guy's family, so i gave him a dagger and began to kill the imperials who were escorting him. the last guard got scared and started to run away. he said something like "please! i surrender!" but i couldn't have him telling others. a powerful slash to the back killed the imperial. the nord thanked me and ran off. three bodies were tossed on the road like garbage.

i couldn't get the guys voice out of my head. those three guards had families too, but i didn't think about that when i attacked. then i got to thinking that i killed three to save one. maybe me saving him saved more people later on, or killed more later on.

anyways i hid the bodies and went to a tavern to get dead drunk.






i know its just a video game, but i still feel bad.

I never feel quite that remorseful for killing anyone in a video game (unless perhaps it's in a purely sadistic manner), but for reasons similar to these I chose not to join the Dark Brotherhood.

Impereals and storm cloaks destroyed my village and killed my people so I feel zero remorse in killing either groups.

Especially considering that the Stormcloak was merely a prisoner of war, and may not have ended up in the clutches of the Thalmor. Killed three, and didn't actually "save" one.

I felt guilty after freeing Thorald Grey-Mane. I wanted to tell him to not join the Stormcloaks, because I'm an Imperial Auxiliary... I hope he never has to see battle.

I try to play as ky character so sometimes I feel bad, but I still do what they would do and try to reason they did something heinous because it suited the idea I had for the character.

Guilty? No.

I ran across the same situation and I too killed the guards. As the prisoner thanked me, I slit his throat.

I definitely feel guilty for doing stuff like that to the point of reloading.

well its not so bad if you don't have limits for yourself. then your mind lets go of all the rules if you play a character like that. you feel like your meant to do stuff like that.

I kinda feel bad, but not too bad. I mean I am a human being. But I do have a save where I go on a killing rampage just for fun.

I found that I had enchanted the only set of available Blade armour (I was on painkillers at the time, so decision making and memory were a bit wonky)...that didn't make me feel bad. Killing a Blade to get another set did though...for a while anyway....till I smithed it up and enchanted it properly.

I don't feel guilty for having a pile of 10 bodies on my bed.

They work as sheets and quilts.
