Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 10:56 am

Firstly, absolutely looving the game. My question is does anybody know where the cheapest house is available for the player to buy and how does one go about obtaining it?

If you want the cheapest house, 5000 gold for Breezehome in Whiterun. You need to complete the quest Bleak Falls Barrow in order to be able to buy it. The Jarl's wizard, Farengar, offers the quest when you first visit Dragonsreach.

Whiteruns Breezehome like everyone mentioned
Best bang for your buck however is the home in Markarth. IMO

I have just gone off and discovered Lund's hut.

It is a shame that you cannot clean it up.
