There are loads of children in Skyrim, but why aren't there any Khajiit, Orc or Argonian children? Also, why aren't there baby animals etc?

Maybe there aren't non-human children because Skyrim is home to Nords only?

There's a conspiracy going on... most of the children look the same... so who is the father ???

But seriously, my guess is that it's a healthy mix between the nords and the imperials, with a little redguard blood long back......

OK but you never see an Argonian child in Skyrim despite a relatively large population of them.

Aren't they the same model from FONV? Only heard something like that... no first hand experience there.

The dragons eat the kids first. . . . they are more tender!

I'd go even further to say, all the children are nords.

I know u cant kill the kids in the game but id like to be able to as an advlt order them around or tell on them, plus they keep entering my breezehome if they talk to me when im entering, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!

plus lil Kajit babys running around might be too tempting like the chicken i got fined over at the start of the game, it was so tempting to kill something after all i had just arrived and was starving

Baby animals hide in the animal dens, so would not be seen unless you found the (quite small) dens. I suppose you might find cubs in caves full of bears and such, but hey, oh well.

For Orcs I suppose its odd you don't see young orcs in the strongholds, but it explains why there's none in the cities. Similarly, Khajiit and Argonins have a tribal structure that allows them to send children home to be raised among their own kind in a culture that isn't openly hostile to them. If there were actual Khajiit and Argonian controlled settlements, you might expect to see children there, maybe.

(Realistically, its obvious the models were not a priority. Anything that can't be involved in a fight is pretty much optional scene dressing. "Setcale" might serve for argonina children, since Argonians may not change proportion as much as they grow. Or their young may not even look humanoid until changed by the hist, who knows?)
