Im on a personal quest to find and clear every location there is (Started a new character), i've explored and cleared Falkreath hold completely and half of the Rift. It has taken me about 20hours so far.

So far only 2 quest/location has bugged on me so i wont be able to complete the missions in those places just because "i entered the area from a wrong direction OR certain person gets stuck in the cave entrance and wont leave the area"

Im interested to see how long it will take to explore the whole map and clear them all. Id guess well over 200 hours.

Hmm well I played skyrim for 152 hours, but I have to say if you coc to every dungeon it'll take about 20-50 hours to beat each one.

267 hours with my first char, I think I cleared every "clearable" place and did pretty much all quests (excluding 2-3 broken minor ones).
btw, I used a lot of fast travel with that char.

I think it took me something like 300 hours to find344 locations in Skyrim with no help from maps etc. Not sure if there's any more but if there are they're damn hard to find.

wow you guys are slow, it only took me 152 hours to find everything and i beat all the quests.

It took me.... 9 hours to get 90%of locations on map (Minus Story ones that are locked out) (I was making a map, so was going from point to point to point and not killing anything)

As for Clearing....
I have yet to get a 100% clear do to file size going past 15-20mb and not loading anymore to get a full clear.

My Lv 57, is at 20mb, and is darn near close (at 87hours) But wont load half time.. So its probaly gonna be on delete list if 1.4 patch don't help it. (ps3)

Most of my Characters stop around lv40-50 (40-80hours) and clear 60-70% of map. (But file size ussally stops me from play..(Not really freezeing, just long load times)

If I take... rrrrr (runs off to Ps3)
Taking my 3 best characters (via Map clears) 150-175 hours to 100% clear. (minus the few MQ/Guild only Clears)

Maybe because you went location-hunting before I did? People play at their own pace, you know.

never, and I probably never will, games like this aren't meant to be "finished", any more than the entire world is meant to be "finished".

It will at least take me another year to do so.

I think I have played Skyrim over 300 hours, but I can't claim that I have found and cleared all the dungeons. I still find new quests and places. on a regular basis.

300 hours to find 333 places, with no fast travel and not looking. Clear them all? No chance, haven't even entered the majority, I found most of them by accident on ingredient hunting forays.

I haven't found them all yet. Maybe I will, since dungeons are extremely fun, but I'm not worried about it. Skyrim isn't a race.
