True. The only problem is that Atronach heavily conflicts with Conjuration, but there's a mod to fix this. Unless the patch adressed that issue...?

Steed or Lord for most characters initially, replaced by the Lady when perks/items make their bonuses irrelevant.
For mages Lord (because they are squishy and I keep forgetting that and getting into combat with them) or Atronach

Completely depends on the character. I don't have a favorite per se. Atronach is cool for any mage, the Guardian Stones for anyone who likes to level more quickly. I think the Ritual Stone will become my favorite once I get my currently most played character's Conjuration maxed, though.

I actualy hate the Stone Tower thing. It`s like some weird way to have an overall character Stars skill like in the other Bethesda game? First time I touched one I git some stupid wizard thing i`d never normally take, so the next time around I was careful and found one that suited a warrior.

But I find them really stupid and somewhat illogical. Why are these stones standing around? how come no one else touches them?

Being able to move that fast really saves you rear end. Not to mention all the extra loot you can carry!
