Xbox 360 need a mod app.

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 7:56 pm

My opinion is that gamesas is leaving xbox 360 outside all the funny with mod and mod creation.
Microsoft just made a new feture that allowes you to download app's to your xbox 360, Why not add a skyrim creation mod ?
With this app you should be able to download/upload mod. And ingame you should have a buttom that allowes you to activate/disable mods.
Only problem is the ach part.
But it not all lost just make ach disabled when you got mod activated.

Steam users should not have all the fun!
we real RPG gamers should play it with style on Xbox!
And still get all the good parts.

Beth isn't leaving anyone out. Blame Microsoft and Sony. And if you look at the new dashboard, you might think Microsoft are trying to marginalise games in favour of movies and the like anyway.

It`s not that simple.

And be thankful you are not forced Steam. You still have your freedom.

It's not Bethesda stopping mods on consoles, they're all for it. It's Microsoft/Sony...

I know Sony and microsoft is cheep basterds but still adding a Dlc that makes you able to do mods should not be that hard.
I guess they are angry over the ach part.

from what i understand, which isn't much, gamesas DOES take the blame because they have the ability to purchase license agreements from the mod developers.

yes, micro/sony aren't doing anything, but, that doesn't matter. them getting involved would only add to the supply.

it's on beth to buy and then make available.

Ok, they do it and when you're sat there with steam coming out of your ears because you downloaded fifty different mods in one go 'because they were cool' and you can't work out which ones are conflicting and crashing the game everytime you load, then what?

This won't happen for a number of reasons. If you want to play with the editor and use fanmade mods, buy the PC version.

The 360 have other benefits like time-exclusive DLCs.
