WTF moments and other Stuff that bugs me

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 1:10 am

Ok the numerous times that I have been executed with full and half health is unreal happen a lot with those damn pesky 2h hammers! The fact the horses are so pointless to ride when you have to constantly get off to fight wolves and bears and saber cats that like to lay on the road!! The fact that the dark brotherhood armor makes my khajiit look like a S&M freak (thieves guild has best armor and story line and overall guild content just my opinion comment if you wish) and the hood doesn't freakin match the set. Those are a few probably going to be called the typical complainer that's whining about the game but the overall game I love just want to vent my thoughts on these damn flaws! I'm sure to find more as I play or remember some I've forgotten please comment on your little annoying flaws you've found.

wait...what? the brotherhood cowl matches the armour perfectly and the hood matches the robe perfectly, you are mixing sets or something, and the brotherhood armour is made for argonians it seems. anyway, moving on, the tails on dead khajiit/argonians bug me

Yeah I'm not sure how the executions work but it happened to me on the first strike of a skeleton. Needless to say I thought it was a good addition to the game until I realized how much bs was involved and the fact I had not saved for awhile.

As for the creature/ animal complaint, I think the thought process was that in oblivion you practically had to scale to dive rock and back to find an enemy. It is good some situations to have more creatures but as you stated can be annoying when someone sends you out to the middle of nowhere to retrieve whatever it is.

Story lines in skyrim = 3 out of 10 IMO. I never feel like I'm accomplishing anything as in Oblivion and do not feel rewarded at the end. This is inexcusable IMO.

Meh guess the cowl does but thieves armor and nightingale set is much better looking, the tails are annoying lol cat may die but the tail lives on hah.

Yes I agree about the storylines I felt the thieves guild was the most well done of the guilds and the most awarding. You get multiple shops set up at the hideout you get 3 sets of armor you get to choose from three nice magic abilities and you can get the guards to let you go.

Developer: Uhm...Todd I think we need to do some more work on the beast races. There are a few minor issues with the tails and armour and such that might become annoying.

Todd Howard: [censored] the beast races man. We have a week to release what we can and there's just no time to mess around with funny looking tails and what not. Besides, it's Skyrim. What sort idiot would want to play anything but a Nord anyway?

Totally agree the whole set looks so much better on females.

I hate some of the NPC's dumb reactions.
For example, I was dragging the corpse of the visiting noble
Spoiler
Dark Brotherhood contract
through Dragonsreach, when the Jarl came up to me, and said "Careful with that!"
I admit that moments like that are hilarious, but still... who reacts like that?

I also agree with the DB armor problem. It ain't even much on females, but on males it just looks silly.

I would have thought the obvious way to stop yourself getting executed a lot is to add more health?
