Future Skyrim DLC to Include Guns!

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:44 am

Bethesda was toying with the idea of including guns in a future Skyrim DLC, but ultimately decided against it. Apparently, taking a bullet to the knee is much more detrimental to an NPC's health than taking an arrow to the knee ;)

Unless you have a reliable source I call bs; they refuse to put xbows in but considered guns? Come on...

That is really reaching for another use of the arrow/knee thing.

As for guns in Skyrim: I hope this never happens. If the time is brought to a more appropriate era then maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but I like the era that these things exist in and I like the game without guns.

If you had read through all the constantly repeating 'do you want guns in Skyrim?' threads last year, you would find that joke even more unfunny.

[And anyway, from Jokes, by Butha Sunhous, a Daggerfall book :

"Why was the Sentinel army so useless during the War of Betony?
The cannons were too heavy, so all three garbage scows sunk."

So guns are already in TES, and have been for years, just no one seems to use them.]

Damn we want guns. I want a multi-missile launcher then we could full on win harder-er-est. Beth should look into this or they will fail at getting a market.

please a mod change the title or something...

if they really did allow guns like glocks, ak's ect... well i'd break my skyrim disk, scratch it, smash it more with a hammer, pee on it and leave it outside for 2 months, then wait till im really wasted and puke all over it.

I thought it may have had something to do with Dwemmer designs and such. I am surprised to not read any books about Dwemmen rifles and cannons and such.

Simply said, Skyrim is a Elder Scroll game not a fallout game.

Then perhaps you should change your thread title to reflect their decision.

We have enough legitimate threads on the Game Jam. We don't need misinformation threads too.
