Any idea why my fireball Firebolt spell and flames have increased damage? I dont have any potions or gear that would boost the damage. Ice spells and lightning spells are doing the normal damage only Fire spells have increased damage all of a sudden.

I dont have any perks in destruction other than novice destruction spell cost reduction thing. On a side note Firebolt only costs like 34 mana per cast and my destruction skill is 24. And no i have no enchanted gear.

Probably a perk you chose or a new armor/amulet/ring item with an enchantment on it boosting destruction.

augmented flames 1 boosted me to 43 on firebolt and 22 on flames. the costs (and possibly damage) scale with your destruction level (costs go down and damage would go up)

yeah enchanting fire perks effect spells and staff i think and illusion perks for fear effects fire if i remember correctly as enemys on fire may run away at low health.

or you got that illusion perk that makes fire more powerful for some raysawn
