When my original character got quest locked, I saved the file onto a USB then deleted everything for a fresh install, then had a new character. Now that 1.4 has my original file working again, I tried to put the two saved files on so I could alternate between them with no success. Apparently (when I look at the folder names in my computer) they are both 'SAVE-PLAYER-3', which is why I couldn't have them both on at the same time. Whenever I try to change that number, it 'corrupts' the data until I change it back to 3.

My question is this, is there anyway for me to modify the save file so I can have both on at the same time, or so I need to pick one and ditch the other? I'd rather not throw one out since they are both level about level 30.

When you saved your savegame onto an unauthorized device it made the savegame no longer assigned to your PS3. I ran into this issue with my PS3 when i tried to put on savegames from an external source. I dont know how the PS3 does it but I don't think there is any way for you to ever access that save file ever again.
