professions for a warrior

Hi

I read somewhere that smithing is for warriors, alchemy for rogues and enchanting is for mages. I have insane amount of magical items in my stash, but I am not sure what to do with them. Selling them would take ages because each npc only has around 700g per day, but disenchanting them seems to be waste of money.

Can you please give me a few suggestions on how to move further on this matter? Can't I just DE some items to get some experience, and at the same time learn how to enchant few of my own items?

Definitely disenchant, no question.

It may sound ridiculous to you at this point, but money is actually really easy to get. Just from playing the game you will collect so many items and selling them actually isn't that hard. (Become leader of the thieves guild, sell to fences which have 4000 gold and replenish every 48 hours). Gold is something you can always get more of.

Disenchanting gets you levels which is probably the most important thing. Also, having a ton of different enchantments can be really nice when you're enchanting items.

Also, these items may seem really good to you now, but as you play more, you will realize that they are not as good as you thought. Eventually, you will be able to craft and enchant MUCH better items than those you find in dungeons, etc. The only magical items worth keeping are unique ones (daedric or quest rewards, etc.)

I would go for disenchanting, for sure.

You only need one of each enchantment. An iron sword with 5 pts of fire damage teaches you the fire damage enchantment the same as a Daedric sword with 30 pts of fire damage. Once you learn it, that's that. Some unique items can't be disenchanted, for very good reasons, there would be no point in their being unique, after all.
