Level 50 ... What should i spend perks on now .-. have 1 sav

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 1:53 am

my character has gone down the pure mage Alchemy would of been useful if i could just figure out how to level it ive made over 40 million potions and gained like 2 xp ... so yeh not my forte

ive put about 3 perks into sneak enhancement so id be harder to detect it doesnt seem to have any effect and rest perks in the sneak tree just dont seem useful because theres no sneak bonus for hitting with magic

then theeres pick pocket which ive been buying training for but havent even attemtped to put into practice ...

smithing seems useless cuz all i make is jewlery and not wearing armour

id do archery but i fear id lagg my save game by useing it because id lose most arrows to my terrible aim and they dont despawn like they did in oblivion

i tried to use melee this late in the game it resulted in a quickker than quick death so humiliating its almost not worth mentioning .-.

Alchemy is the only way to increase your spell damage. Use that. Higher tiered recipes yield higher xp. It takes a long time to level Alchemy. Use the Thief Stone when you go to craft.

You won't level alchemy much by making loads of cheap potions. You need to make expensive potions. Restore health is no good. You want fortify, damage regeneration, paralysis, slow, invisibility, they get you loads more experience.

In order to unlock new recipes, eat ingredients. This will display an effect. After you have done this, create potions, then substitute the 3rd and 4th ingredients. This will allow you to learn more recipes. Just keep mixing ingredients and it will unlock those other recipes.

You need to experiment more, damage health gets you bugger all. Don't be afraid to eat ingredients, waste them by trying unknown combinations and failing, and buy everything an alchemy vendor has for sale.

every ingrediant i find = resore magicka ravage magica damage health or heal health and in the rare case of vampire dust and chaurus eggs = invisibility ...

also is it normal for player made potion of restore magicka to make a sound like being electricuted when eaten/drank ? there isnt any negative effects listed but the sound doesnt sound liek a good sound .-.

If those are the only ingredients you have found you aren't looking very hard. Also you can go into any Alchemy shop and just BUY ingredients and unlock effects/recipes.

Yes, potions have strange sounds to them.
