So I thought this was pretty awesome. I forged a suit of Dwarven armor to put on display in my Windhelm house, and when I was putting it on the mannequin, I accidentally equipped my dragonplate shield to the mannequin as well, I however took it off and put it back in my inventory. I hadn't been back in that house in a while and my game updated yesterday, I think? Anyways, I went back in that house today to get a weapon I'd left in a case and discovered that two of the three mannequins in the house had dragonplate shields equipped on them! So I now have those two plus the one I had equipped. Instead of selling them, I'm to upgrade them and forge matching sets of armor for a couple of my housecarls since I had enough bones for a full set and part of another stashed in my Whiterun house already.

The Windhelm house was, and still is, full of bugs, and a similar bug was found in the Solitude house.

It seems so. Until that update I couldn't use any of the plaques or the weapon rack in that house. I've got almost all the houses except for the one in Riften and each one has given me trouble at some point.

Personally, I'm not much of the decorating type. I mean, the only person I would be showing off to would be myself. And I've been seeing several posts where people talk about things falling off of or disappearing from mannequins or plaques. Or things being knocked off tables and kicked around the floor.
