I'm trying to make weapons and armor in the forge to increase smithing etc. so I have done some mining and stole some ores and ignots to do this. The stolen ones do not appear as available to use at the forge, when they clearly are in my inventory when I check my items. I've been reading other discussions on this to sell them and buy them back for more money than I was able to sell them. I didn't steal them to make profit, I want to better my equipment. What is the point of stealing items, if you can't do what you want with them? How do I clear the stolen tag to use the raw materials to make other items in the forge?
