Bethesda hired lots of creative people to come up with a storyline and with their ending (don't spoil the actual ending for others).

Now, let's see if you can be more creative in creating your own ending. I will pick the best one and the funniest one after 3 days.

I have done everything and have enough money to buy all the sweet rolls in Tamriel, turn them into giant, hideous and delicious monsters and create an arena where the plebs can come and enjoy the show. I'd also like to have joined the Forsworn and become king of the Reach.

aludin actually never wanted to eat the world, he just anted to have a sweet roll, some mead and a party, in my alternate ending he gets his party and we have the empire for dinner

edit: Bah. I can't address this without even the slightest hint to spoilers.

Here's my alternate ending (or rather, an add-on to the ending):

Getting bored after defeating Alduin and sorting out the civil war, Dovakhin fills in his time experimenting with the atronarch forge...one day he puts in the remains of a Thalmor mage, a bunch of dwemer machine parts, a heap of soul gems, and a broom...little did he know that instead of creating the Wizard Stick Of Vacuuming, when he tested it to remove the cobwebs from the house in Solitude he found out it was actually a planet destroying thermonuclear device....

The final battle takes place and the camera floats upwards, birds fly by... a dragon flies awkwardly backwards... the camera pans out some more and a Mammoth goes hurtling past...

Belethor's voice echoes in the stratosphere... and the camera zooms out to just a profile of Mundus...

It shakes violently back and forth and suddenly you are in Todd Howard's bedroom.

'Oh.." he says and continues, "...the fans are going to love this game."

Just when you think its over, the camera follows him a bit further and you witness him sitting down at his breakfast table playing Angry Birds on an iPad.

"I think the next game will have more birds, and pigs... and maybe we'll partner with Apple AND Steam." He begins eating a breakfast of turkey bacon and powdered soy eggs, with some almond milk and states, "Options, the fans want them so lets give it to them. Maybe we should get the Metroid Other M guys to help us out with the story."

Dramatic music cues and credits roll.

You find out that the word "Rosebud" Alduin whispered at the beginning was his dragon-sled.

Alduin died of frustration because Lydia blocked his flight path.
