Wish I could turn myself In...

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 4:25 pm

Yesterday I was approaching Shor's Stone early in the morning, wearing a certain cursed ring, and I transformed into a werewolf right there... I thought about turning around, but then I decided to be true to my beast blood, plus the guards had already saw me and started attacking. I kiled two of them before I transformed back into a human. I didn't realize this at first so I punched the last guard, who chased me out of the village.

I ran to Riften, where I attempted to turn myself in. But I couldn't. The guards didn't know. My character felt just awful about the people she'd killed. A bear cub is one thing, but mauling a person should get me a little prison time. Overall I really have enjoyed roleplaying a werewolf: sleeping for no more than four hours at a time, hunting all night, gobbling up wolf hearts...but there's quite a lot of guilt to deal with when your morally strong character slaughters an innocent.

Just go back to the gaurds that saw you, and talk to 'em. That's about all I can tell you.

Yea, if you go to a different hold, your crimes don't carry from hold to hold. Go back to the town where the guards saw you, and you can turn yourself in.

The fact that guards everywhere instantly, psychically, knew about all infractions of the law was heavily criticized in Oblivion. It was felt to be a very primitive, simplistic way of handling crime. Skyrim's system, it can be argued, is much more complex and realistic.

It was in the same hold, but crimes committed as a werewolf don't give you a bounty afterward.

gobbling wolf hearts? Please explain this because my wolves aren't edible
As for morally strong, how do you justify being a werewolf who feasts on man flesh? Or are you a vegan werewolf :P

I have a mod installed that gives my wolves, and other creatures, hearts and meat.

And yes, that's the problem. It can't be justified other than to say that she wasn't herself; it's the beast's fault.

Real Wildlife Skyrim, am I right? I have that mod installed, and I get hearts and meat from creatures. It also adds additional versions of each creature (excluding Slaughterfish, apparently, and possibly a few others) and increases the number of diseases in the game, so there's actually more than just seven diseases in the game.

As for trying to convince the guards to arrest you, you could always try punching one in the face, but they sometimes will just try to kill you rather than arrest you when you do that, though. But it sounds like there may have been no surviving witnesses, or some strange glitch I've never heard of. it's possible there were somehow no witnesses at all. It happens.
