I know this might be a little dumb, but I′ve grown tired of the name I came up with for a char, and at the same time I just can't reroll another char and play the beginning for a long time. So can I change chars names via the files or something?

Dev console via the tilde key (`) and type showracemenu

Remember to use TGM before using ShowRaceMenu or you screw up your skills. Also, save quit and reload when you're done because your racial bonuses are (temporarily) removed and make sure you re-equip all your worn items to regain their benefits.
