Has anyone else had this problem? I was going though a cave and had torvar from the companions following me. Well he died and I didn't care much but a while later I noticed any other follower was saying that there was someone already following me. I found his body in jorrvarskr and I know it is still registering him as a follower because I was trying to recruit for the blades and she accepted him and I went back to his home and he was still dead on the ground but wearing blades armor. Can somebody help? Is there a way to dismiss followers without talking to them? Like in fallout.

My follower died and I had no problem getting other followers. Probably some bug on your side, restart the game and see if it fixes.

I did a few times. He was not the first one that died following me either.

Maybe word is getting around. So, the other Followers are using an excuse so they don't have to help you to their deaths........
