Aela (my wife) Missing

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 11:15 am

Well, I went ahead and married Aela the Huntress from the Companions. I told her she would live with me in Whiterun. Then after acquiring the house in Windhelm, told her we were moving there. Only problem, shes nowhere to be found. I've checked Jorrvaskr, both of my homes, and still cannot find her. I have even waited a month of in-game time to see if she'd pop up at my house in Windhelm, but nope. Anybody encountered this before? If so, got any tips as to where i can find her?

It's a bug.
Or she couldn't resist her nature and gone hunting one night and gotten herself captured by the Silver swords.

Companions do go on hunting trips but... Yeah. I suspect she's probably dead.

If you're on PC, use the console command

player.moveto 0001A697

It will teleport you to her position. ;)

To find her you can just activate the miscellaneous quest "Talk to Companion leaders for work". It should point to Jorrvaskr and Aela's current location.
