Morrowind music!?

Am I mistaken, or did I hear a music piece from Morrowind upon entering a certain place in Solitude?

You're not mistaken. It's in the game, as well is a track from Oblivion I think.

Yeah, I've heard the Morrowind music too. Not as familiar with Oblivion, so not sure about that music.

I've heard it around Solitude i think and It brings back very fond memories!

I don't recall the oblivion track though i spent a lot more time in morrowind so it's pretty ingrained in my memory

I'm the other way around. I never played Morrowind unfortunately but I've heard it has good music. Where's this Oblivion track at? I want to hear it now!

The music has been good in every game. We have just gotten more of it with each chapter.

I'm in the same boat. I wouldn't recognise the Morrowind music but I am intrigued as to where abouts I can locate the Oblivion music. I can't say I've recognised it as of yet, maybe I'm not listening hard enough.

I SWEAR one time I heard music from Fallout 3, now THAT I wish I could confirm.

I've not played that either, sorry I can't help there. Although I would be VERY surprised if this were the case.

I've also heard "Rise to Reality/ Silt Sunrise" ( From Morrowind) in Whiterun whilst standing around doing nothing.

Yes, it plays in the towns sometimes. There's an arrangement of it in Oblivion called "Through the Valleys." In Skyrim it's called "The Jerall Mountains." The piece is very obviously different in each game.

I'm not sure what other tracks appear from previous games, except that sometimes the bards play one of the town tracks from Daggerfall on their lutes.

There're no tracks from Oblivion in Skyrim. Maybe similar or identical melodies that sort of span the series, but nothing like pulling a piece right out of the game.

I just listened to the main theme all the way through for the first time, and noticed the same melody from the theme for Morrowind as well.

jeremy soule has been using a lot of the same music since morrowind. kind of like a trademark of this generation of elder scrolls games. the main theme is actually the same one in morrowind, oblivion, and in skyrim, its just been modified.

There's this song from the Skyrim OST that sounds like the Oblivion title music, oddly I don't remember hearing it in game (Anyone remind me?).

And of course the distinct Morrowind exploration tune, which hasn't been changed much at all.

Really loving this soundtrack, best purchase I ever made. "The Streets of Whiterun" is incredible.

I'm glad someone brought this up...hehe

I've always been hearing it now and then, and was sure I'd heard it before (Morrowind)

I knew it was from Morrowind the second i first heard it, although i never heard it near Solitude, i in fact heard it near Riften.

The very first time i ever heard that song in Morrowind i was making potions, ever since then i always think of picking flowers and brewing a few potions when ever i hear this song in both Morrowind and Skyrim.

The same goes for Oblivion since i added all of Morrowind's songs to Oblivion a long time ago. :D (although not played Oblivion in a few months)
