I'm interested in hearing some of the more interesting playstyles and characters people have come up with and why (and how you justify it from an RP perspective), because when it's all said and done there is more to this game than swinging swords and throwing fire (like shouting and dying!).

for example I play a sneak archer, however my weapon of choice is a shield and a bound bow, I can dispatch the weaker enemies (like skellies and skeevers) with a bash or two and knock back the larger ones giving me time to conjure my bound bow to finish them of, I wear light armour because from an RP perspective it makes more sense than clanky plate (even if the in game perks can counter that completely) although I do sometimes use a heavy shield but only if i feel the need to be particularly brutal, my character is the perfect killing machine, he is a small bosmer in light armour with no offensive weapons what so ever, so nobody considers him a threat until an arrow is already in their face (or a sword/axe in the back if i feel like human contact), and he has gone to skyrim for two reasons, one is he feels oppressed by his people and their beliefs (but i don't wanna eat my enemy!) and also because he knows he can do great things (like taking control of every single large organization, above and below the board, so that he can eventually claim the high king throne and sort out the all the sh** that goes on in skyrim).

basically he's a total badass disguised as a total [censored], I call him captain skyrim.

I was hoping this thread would get more attention! Surely some of you have atypical play styles.

I made an argonian named GEICO and I am roleplaying a insurance salesman.

A madwoman that kills everything.

I play as a weapon master. I use all types of weapons and absolutely no magic. I heal/buff using alchemy potions. Also no smithing and enchanting. The whole point is to be prolific with anything you find.

My first playthrough, i didn't role play as much as I wanted too because when you first get Skyrim it's hard to restrain yourself from doing things you actually wouldn't.

I had a quite uncommon choice for my character, a Khajiit that uses Two-Handed Swords and Frost destruction.
for Role playing, I refrained myself from joining any type of bad guild such as the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves guild, and that's about the only successful part of Role playing i could do on him.

Well, right now I am playing an "Iron Man Challenge' which means my character just uses unenchanted iron equipment and no followers. It is pretty fun so far. The trip up to Hrothgar was a bit tough.
