Thanks for cloud, but...

I am not quite happy HOW you implemented it.
Right now my cloud is nearly full already with 41MB where only 50MB are available and there is only autosave 1,2,3 and quicksave in it.
My real savegame which is named "BretonMage" did not get uploaded.
I actually rather would have liked 5 Slots for the cloud which I can choose ingame. Yes, auto and quick would not save there then, but I can live with that. I would rather like to add a specific Character to that slot and have the newest Save of that character added there or just saving to each slot manually. That's how Civ 5 did it and I like that actually way more, because I really don't need autosave 3x and quicksave in the cloud.
Thanks for reading.

Got to agree with this. It makes little sense for us to barely be able to get one character saved in the Cloud. If we at least got to choose which saves it would be nicer.

Another thing is, that upload is really not that fast here in Germany mostly and it takes ages to upload all autosaves and quicksaves after every session. (90 kb/s)
They are always overwritten while playing normally.
I just do one clean "Mastersave", how I name it, after each session which I create using the console with a name, because I really hate having Save1-10.000 on my harddisc and having to think about which saves belongs to which charater. I think that this needs improvement in general. Why not making a savegame folder per character?

My Games

Skyrim

CharakterName

autosave

quicksave

Save1

etc

Yeah, people have been complaining about the save structure since Oblivion (as Morrowind had you custom name all saves iirc)

This is Valve's decision, not Bethesda's.

The cloud is Valve's creation. Bethesda never had nor do they have anything to do with it.

I use my own Cloud Server. It is called another HDD in my machine.

I have turned off the Cloud service mostly because I don't want 12 to 25 MB of saves banging back and forth each time I load up the game or quit the game. Plus, I only play on one PC.

If the saves were smaller, or it took the most recent save, then I might use the service.

I disabled cloud too, though I do hate how having 40 odd mods makes the cloud synchronzing after game close painfully slow.
