I am not sure if any Christian or people of faith in Jesus Christ
happen to know if the Developers use real Witchcraft, Magic in Skyrim? Magic i am talking about is Magic that is real taking from Wiccan embraces or any WitchCraft books real Witches Study from. I enjoy Rpg Games but do notice most of them use Magic in them. Being a Christian i cant play games that support real Witchcraft, and wouldnt want too for other reasons. I am not puting anyone down that chooses too play games that use real magic.I simply seek the truth being magic in rpg games are they using real Witch craft spells, magic like Harry potter ? the magic taking from the movie, games are being taking from Wiccan embraces. I respect the right of others.I dont judge so please dont judge me thank you.

The game lets you use magic, if that's what you're asking. In the Elder Scrolls magic is a neutral force, tapped by a wide variety of people. Mainstream wizards tend to have academic trappings, rather than an occult appearance, and indeed the "Mage's Guild" of TES V is a magical college. The same schools of magic are accessed by the various priests of the Eight/Nine Divines. On the other end are Necromancers and villainous mages, and they often do have a more occult aesthetic. The Forsworn and the Hagravens push this to the extreme, and they do have a number of self-described witches.

So if you wish you can pursue magic without involving yourself in an occult culture. If you're uncomfortable using magic which "witches" also harness you can also avoid using magic entirely. However if encountering any such symbols or terminology offends you then TES V may not be for you. With some planning it is possible to avoid most of this, but it requires staying away from the a fair chunk of the game world and most, if not all, of the joinable factions. The Enchanting Table may also make you uncomfortable.

There are no real world religions in the Elder Scrolls game, or any of their books. On that note, we don't allow the discussion of real-world religions on the forums as such topics tend to become contentious quickly. If you have any questions about my post you're welcome to send me a PM.
