Its happened twice tonight, the first time at night I would walk and all of a sudden I see my red health bar draining fast (about 3-4 seconds).. then im dead... (like some sort of spell)

Then later I saw a dragon fighing something, what ever it was killed the dragon fast... I went to investigate and I was soon dead... Thoughts?

I do have the Wars of skyrim mod installed...

I have never experienced anything like that in vanilla Skyrim. So it does sound like a mod-related bug.

Nope, never had a visible drain of health from an invisible enemy. Been one shotted by Master level Mage type Forsworm Briarhearts who were outside my range of vision, but thats instant type death, full health baer to zero in one flash. The only thing I can think of is some of the ancient vampires can go invisible and drain the blood right out of you if you don't see them first. That would be a little more drawn out...

Could you have by chance ran into 1 or more Spriggans at once and didn't see them? That would do it.

I once walked close to Riften when a volley off arrows came out of nowhere and killed me. I never even saw the archers

Azuras quest, I did not expect those daedra to be so powerful.

In dungeons, Falmer and Chaurus. [censored] they can be powerful.

[censored] chaurus. The first time i saw them, in frostflow lighthouse, my reaction was like "sweet! bug killing ". They proved me wrong big time.

If it's Wars of SKyrim, more than likely a Vampire Lord decked out in Daedric duds ripping you a new one from the ethereal never never land!

I "met" my first chaurus in the marshes of Solitude. I was just wandering around, until I suddenly got thrown up in the air a bit and one-shotted. When I reloaded, I sneaked when I got to the same area again, and I suddenly saw such a big bug-thing scrambling about, making its nasty sound. Proceede by sneaking around it in a veeeeeery big circle. I was very careful when I noticed what had gone on in that lighthouse a little bit later, was even contemplating to not do it. But when I finally did, the bugs at the entrance didn't even attack me ...

Only one time, I think I got too close to a giant and he whacked me good.

I play with no HUD and have many times been 1 shotted by a random tough bandit.

every night, sometimes its a mudcrab othertimes its a wisp sometimes i even walk off a clilff, the funniest one yet is killed by a wolf though i play with the brightness down so its dang hard to see in pitch black! pressed for vampires sight and i forgot i had unrelenting force bound to ''Z'' so yeh....i bit the dust in an instant haha

Not been insta-killed mysteriously yet and I`m on Master.

It could happen quite easily in FO3 where snipers and long range guns exist. Once I was taking a nice walk through the ruins of DC when WUP! Dead. I didn`t even see the shot.

i was the same the first time i saw them, but yeah turned out they are a [censored] when dealing damage. dont even get me started on the reaper chaurus.

crazy to think that bugs are more powerful then dragons... too me anyway it seems that way.

Happened to me a few times, but I didnt get "drained" these times. Deathlord shooting me with an arrow, insta-killing me, a giant once at a low level, and a Briarheart whacking me big time once or twice. Beside that nothing special. Sounds like a group of Spriggans with a Matron comin by unnoticed.
