Difficulty..

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 7:20 pm

I have always played on adept but every time I watch a topic about lets say some bandits and the OP says "this was a hard battle on expert" or "this was a challenge on expert". I play on adept and have always done that in the entire time I have played the TES series (started with oblivion) but now I begin to wonder if expert difficulty would be more fun or more challenging.. I don't know if it does a different to tell that I do have the mod "wars in skyrim" witch spawn more monsters, creators etc.

Conclusion: Shall I use expert difficulty or just adept and what do you use?

Thanks in advance!

Adept is too easy, until you meet a mage.
Expert is ok, until you meet a mage.
Master is perfect, until you meet a mage.

Long story short, difficulty is messed up in this game. Go with whatever you feel is right for you.

Try it out for yourself. Bump it up to Expert or even Master and play for a bit. If it's too hard you can always dial the difficulty back to Adept.

I always play on adept too. Just do whatever you think is fun, if you want more of a challenge, go with expert or master. If you're having fun with adept, keep it there.

Master is too easy, until you meet a boss / dragon / mage.

On my warrior I play on Adept, as he takes a lot more hits and sometimes it can be annoying if I keep dying.

On my stealth character I play on Expert, although I am thinking of ranking this up to Master, as since I can pick off enemies before they see me it can tend to be quite easy.

I always used to be a default difficulty player, but since my second char in Skyrim, i cranked it up to Expert and its definately a noticable difference.
I enjoy it more. You need to be just that bit more cautious in your approach and I love it.

From what I understand all the difficulty does is make them harder to kill and you easier.
