Not all of this makes much sense, so bear in mind it's a dream. Anyway, I was in Skyrim (but I knwe it was the game) and was happy to see that already, without my knowledge, several expansions had been completed, but then was dissapointed at what they were. One was a collection of tropical desert islands just North of Skyrim and one was set entirely inside an out of proportion shipwhich was apparently sinking, and already underwater.

Suddenly I found myself on the balxony of a building that looked like a mix between Riften and generic town architecture, and a redguard and caucasian looking race were fighting with rapiers. Partway through, the redguard's hand was chopped off and then the other one's sword was knocked from his hand... and he got out a gun. Not even a revolveror musket, but a modern pistol, and shot the redguard and blew off his other hand. the Redguard then punched the other guy with the stub of his arm and he fell off the balcony. I went inside the building and found a pretty normal looking interior, except there were a few random modern day electrical devices, like a wireless home telephone and a smoke detector.

I was very unhappy, and went to see the developer responsible, which was apparently GOB from Arrested Development. I complained the the expansions made no sense and the inclusion of modern tech didn't fit in TES at all, and asked him why people would use swords and bows if they had guns and why they would use couriers if they had email and phones. He just told me he didn't care and to svck it up. "Yeah, the guy in a $6800 suit is gonna make you a game that makes sense! COME ON!" (okay, he didn't say that part, I just thought it would be funny to add). Anyway, I was very disillusioned now, and decided I didn't want to play the game anymore, and decided to go see the Skyrim movie, which was made before the expansions and technology additions, and told the story of how Frodo and Gandalf went to fight Alduin.
