What is Your Favourite PathRoad

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 8:19 am

You've seen the threads about favourite holds. You've seen the threads about favourite cities. Now its time for the greatest favourite thread of all time!
Paths and Roads!
Which path/road is your favourite to use to traverse the great land of Skyrim?

Mine is a long winding path up the mountain going towards Ivarstead starting from just before Fort Amol. The path to goes by the famous tree bridge.

Whiterun to Solitude or Falkreath via Riverwood.

I don't like snow. Or trolls. Or blizzards.

I agree with that. The road from Whiterun to Rorikstead is filled with amazing things.

Helgen-Riften, my first journey in Skyrim. The transition form snowy ridges to autumn forest was inspiring.

This is rather embarrassing, but I only just walked the road from Riverwood to Falkreath today. I'm on my 4th character and have been playing since release day. I don't know how I managed to avoid it before! It is a beautiful walk, along the lake amongst the green forest. Breathtaking. I might go as far as calling it my favorite.

I do NOT like walking in the snow and blizzards in the north. Brrrrrrrrr.

Usually going from Whiterun past Ivarstead to Riften. Although I do take a right turn up the mountain at the Ritual Stone.

I agree with everything you just said. Although Dawnstar to Solitude is quite pretty as well.

Windhelm to Ivarstead is another good one, especially just as you come into the Rift and climb the mountain with the huge stream/river

Riverwood to Markarth. In fact, the western mountains in general. Wow.
