A Question on "Followers"

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 6:57 am

I have tried several different Followers and still am unable to find one that will unlock anything for me. Or steal. Or do anything besides fight! Where are the less-honorable Followers??

Here's some info on followers that may help you out.

Interesting. It seems so obvious now, but I never bothered giving Followers any health potions.

Maybe if they asked, but since they don`t die unless you`re careless with them, it seems just a waste.

It says they have no Inventory limit, but they do.

I avoided the rest of the details- I prefer to find out about more Followers through adventuring.

Thanks for the info. I have Marcurio atm and while he wouldn't unlock a 'master' level door, he WOULD unlock an 'adept' chest. So I think it must be based on their individual skill levels.

I've had Aranea open some doors for me, but nothing above apprentice. And Cosnach can't get enough of those invisibility potions.

I have yet to use a follower so I can't help. My next character (3rd overall) will be a wizard so I'm sure I'll pick one up. I'll post then if I find anything.

the inventory limit is actually only built into the trade UI. you get past it by dumping 100's of lbs of stuff in a box and tellign them to take everything in the box. Be warned however all things that they do this will get marked as their ownership so if you open up the inventory and take the stuff it will all be marked as stolen afterwords.

Thanks. Well I like the realistic inventory limit, so I won`t be doing that.
