Shrill Cicero

Am I the only one that finds Cicero to be....ANNOYING!?
I don't like listening to his voice, (whiny and piercing) watching his gestures (clap and dance) and I definitely dislike his color choice (red and black? TACKY!)

Cicero is amazing. He is one of my favorite men in the game. As for his clothes, all the dark brotherhood wears black and red.

He's meant to be an annoying loon, not an inspiring figure. That's what makes him interesting.
He has a crazy little voice... which is completely awesome to me.

Also, why is red and black tacky? :sadvaultboy:

Cicero's voice is a real "nails across a black board" experience for me.

I also find the OP avatar to be what he described cicero as.
Cicero is deliberately stand out to give the game character and this it does.

Tired of cliched villians and robbers? We have Cicero. Well done Bethesda.

That avatar on the other hand, is political in a forum supposed to be without, and is petty and silly- and tells us nothing about the poster except his politics- which I didn't want to know.

He's meant to be that way, just as the Thalmor are meant to come across as arrogant bastards.

Love him or hate him, Cicero is one of the few characters in the game that's actually memorable. Pity the Dark Brotherhood questline was so short so they didn't make more out of him...

tbh I kinda regret killing cicero during my own let's play/playthrough of this game. I haven't uploaded it yet but I finished recording the main questline and i must admit i'm kinda sad about it. :(

oh well, there's always next playthrough i'll do own my own. :P

Cicero forces you to want to hate him. I actually found myself grabbing at the screen to shut him up. Came to appreciate him though, just simply love him now

I love Cicero!! Every time he asks " can we kill someone?" I picture my char. tapping him on the nose with a newspaper and saying " NO, bad Cicero" just like a puppy. And the whole dance he does if F'en funny, even more so when your sposed to be having a serious conversation with so&so and in the back ground is Cicero doen his little jig. Barbas the dog is by far more irritating.

Anyways, I'm kinda neutral. I don't mind his voice, its actually pretty good. But that is countered by his dancing and clapping, which I don't like. And what's wrong with black and red? I'm wearing black and red pants right now.

That avatar on the other hand, is political in a forum supposed to be without, and is petty and silly- and tells us nothing about the poster except his politics- which I didn't want to know.

I'm allowed to use kind of picture I desire, be it political, or mystical, the evaluative emphasis of peers is entirely an optional characteristic.
People sometimes forget, this is a forum, therefore opinions rule. Bad opinion, good opinion, it's not black and white, there is so much grey area to explore. (It's astonishing)
The fact that this writer assumes I believe in the political characteristics of this figure, is...absolutely funny.
I bet this writer can't even name the figure in my picture. (Without Google-ing)

The writer also likes to forget that any kind of opinion is absolutely political.

When speaking of political power, I speak about the ability of one person to get another person, to do something that the latter person desires.
The fact that this fellow post maker even replied to my forum post, says a lot about his intelligence, understanding, and definitions of political co-existence with this forum.

The way they try to make Cicero interesting is so easy and obvious and yet.. I do remember him so... mission accomplished?

Cicero is sixy, and that's all there is to it. <3

Sorry you find him annoying. It's a 50/50 thing I noticed.

No. I find him very annoying.

What makes it worse is, he's the NPC who has arguably the most character in the game. And that character is exceedingly annoying.

Wanting to slap the voice out of his mouth is part of what makes Cicero who he is.

In my game, he is still capering and muttering by his cart.
