I'm sorry I had to make this second topic BUT.. yeah this is pretty insane.

First out of nowhere in Falkreath a "Student" came up to me and asked if he could test his magic on my Ward. (Because I have 50 Restoration now)

I let him do it, cause I thought it was pretty interesting seeing as I haven't even joined the College or even been near it. And mind you I'm only good at Restoration! Not destruction.. I'm a Sword and Board Nord.

Right as I come out of Warmaiden's in Whiterun this old guy wearing Fur Armor goes "You call yourself a Wizard?! I challenge you to a Duel!"

O.O HUH?! Wtf...

Also, the guards didn't do squat. They just sat and watched, scratched there rear ends.. like THANKS GUYS!

But I cheated... I got two swords out, rushed him with Whirlwind Sprint and did 3 power attacks to end him. DUDE WAS INSANELY strong!!!
No way I was gonna beat him with Magic.. and I don't have the Ward Perk in Restoration yet (frikkin 60 BS..)

Anywho, yeah.. to all those who said "What happened to the Duels?".. well I literally just had one happen right as I type this. Bethesda.. you sneaky.. sneakkkyyy bastards..

EDIT: I will take pics right now with my skype cam on my laptop. Of the "Challenger" himself.. and of the Misc. Quest. BRB!

This has not happened to me once and I played 350 hours and have a level 81 Dunmer...what...the....efff man!

Same thing happened to me in whiterun and I didn't even know magic! I had to do the ol mace to the face but strange nonetheless

Ah, a good ol' showdown. I have never had this happen to me, even though I explore heaps now. Seems interesting

This has happened to me just once, and like your character, mine was a S+B with just Restoration magic. So when he challenged me to a duel I couldn't really duel him myself.

It didn't last long though, I had Lydia with me at the time and she didn't seem to hear the part about this being a 1v1 duel and started wacking the guy. Then a guard joined in after she attacked and they killed him while he was yelling something about me cheating.

Yeah, sorry dude, didn't mean to cheat but my friend is a bit volatile

I stepped out of War-Maiden's once back when I was like level 20 and some guy challenges me. I didn't even have a lesser ward and I think I had two shouts total. Ass handed too me. repeatedly. I got killed so many times the game just said "Forget it" and didn't spawn him the last time I came out of War-Maidens. Dragonborn fail.
