Higher Level Random Quests

At level 50+ (and earlier), I noted a weakness in the Jarl, Companion, and faction quests. The quests get locked into a boring pattern. Example: Jarl Quests are all "kill the giant." I suggest the quests are randomly generated but leveled for difficulty. I enjoyed wiping out the bandits, but that only happens when I go back to a location after its had time to regenerate.

Similarly, because my character was fairly high when I started the Companion and Mage College quests, I went straight to the main line quests for each and became the leader of each without getting the build-up. The faction quests should be slated (a certain number of progressively harder quests for each faction level - regardless of my character level), with a modifier for character level.

The weakness in the quest strategy providing leveled opponents is consistent through the civil war quests. I just defeated the Empire single-handedly with my level 64 Nord dealing out 180+ damage (Dragon Sword) with 1400+ armor (Light Dragon Armor) . Winning the war was anti-climactic.

What do you think?

Hmm, it might be an interesting idea, on the other hand it adds more levelling, which I'm not so sure about.

By the way, it really doesn't matter what level you are: those guilds are just short.

Level 50 is the soft-cap for the game. You can continue leveling past this by leveling all your skills that you never used, but enemies won't level with you.

So it's not surprising that you're vastly overpowered. But the game isn't built with the end goal of getting your character leveled up as high as possible.
