Assassins Creed and Skyrim

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:06 am

So yeah, I'm a huge RPer who doesn't have problems with making crossovers. I'd like to play as an Assassin.

I have a quick question. What clothing should I wear? What fits best? Oh and no mods, I'm on the 360.

The nightengale armor you get by completing the thieves guild.

Well I like wearing my guild master armor, or nightingale. Both look pretty cool.

If you want to roleplay as a true assassin, you would change up your clothing for each job, not walk around in f the "Hi, I am in the Thieves Guild / Darkbrotherhood guild" uniform like a ninja in broad daylight. Of course, it depnds on how hardcoe you want to roleplay it.

I'm playing an assassin now and he's wearing master of destruction robes, adept hood, mythic dawn gloves and thalmor boots it looks very assassiny. The other choice I had was the Psijic order robes, but sadly you cannot get them on console.

I'd like to see a new Nord armor looking something like the one in Assassins Creed.

There is a mod that looks just like the AC1 cloak, I forget what it was called though, he called it something else, probably because of copyright issues.

Go to Bards Leap Summit and jump off. I think it's a tribute to AC.

EXACTLY.... in AC1 Altair at least blends in as a monk in the crusades.... and then it's gets more and more obvious as you take on Ezio in the renaissance in AC2 and AC:B. Extravegant pretty clothes and in all types of colors. If I was a real person in these games placed in the events that happened I'd be like "Yeah, that's that assassin guy. He's really obvious. He bumped into me the other day and stole my pouch of coin and pretended like he accidently stuck his hand out into my pocket. I've seen him pop out of hay bales to kill guards and jumping and dving into hay bales from the highest perches. Wonder if he'll ever get caught?......"

BUT if you want to look like them.... I think leather boots and gloves probaly always. I haven't seen white robes but that would be the closest. I haven't gotten any of the dragon preist masks but I've seen pictures and those kinda look like a mask that Ezio gets in AC:R.

Then once you get looking like a goodie assassin... go to Bard's Leap and jump. Too bad you can't dive.

You'll want to check out Nightingale Armor with Apprentice Hood. It's a bit darker than the classic Assassin's Creed look, but gives you both a slim 'n' smooth armour and a fitting, concealing hood.

I find Nightingale armor to be unwieldy and to fancy, with that much stuff hanging off, you're bound to get stuck while making your escape. Wear either DB armor or modified DB armor.

Goof, good, thanks. I think I'll go with a robe and a hood then change my clothing here and then. I know Nightingtale looks badass but I won't play trough the thieves guild once again.

Are there any places in the game that I could use as an Assassins base? How about any fitting quests? I already know about the ''leap of faith'' easter egg, this'll be the assassins test to join the ''guild''.

So what would be a good Assassins base with some characters in it that could be assassins? No DB please.

I still need some help. I already have some ideas myself, but maybe you guys know better.

- What race should I play as? I was thinking about choosing an Imperial.
- What faction could be the Templars?
- Most fitting weapons?
- Assassins HQ? I'm searching for a place with some NPCs in it. Could be an inn.

Well, here are just some suggestions:

1: Imperial or Redguard. Depends on whether you want the Italian or Arabic approach. As Imperial you can claim to assassinate purely for the interests of the Empire, whereas if you are Reguard you can do both that and assassinate on behalf of the Alik'r. All the Redguards you see harassing women in Skyrim are in fact hired assassins, if I remember correctly.
2: The Thalmor would be the obvious choice, in my opinion. They've got the entire agenda of a power-hungry, supremacist faction. Plenty of reason to oppose them from the shadows, as the Blades once did.
3: Daggers and shortswords, I'd say. A bow will definitely be handy too, of course. Any assassin worth his salt will know that succesful assassinations come from carefully calculated shots or poison, as opposed to sneaking up behind someone and slitting their throat.
4: Hall of the Vigilant? They're all hooded and combat-oriented. If you've got the imagination, you can pretend they're assassins rather than zealous crusaders. Other than that, I'll bet there are some nice-looking temples here and there in the colder regions of Skyrim.

If you talk to the Alik'r they make their base the Inn in Rorikstead, so that might be a good place to hang out at any way, with fellow assassins.

Imagine an open world Assassins Creed game as big and with as much depth as a TES game. That would be good. I love the imagination and world of AC. I could see it working.
