You know, the one who appears randomly ad says he's on his way to Solitude to join the legion? Had anybody made sure he eat there safely?

I always just kill him or let him pass by. But then again I've seen him walking on roads nowhere near Solitude, going the wrong direction. I think he's lost.

Yeah, I remember seeing the couple who's heading to the wedding in Solitude, walking past Whiterun in the direction of Windhelm. I think that they walk wherever they're going, and then walk back and off the grid, but the text never changes.

Though I'm not basing that on anything substantial, just a feeling.

I once followed the guy who said he was going to Azura's Shrine, but he ended up getting killed by a Frostbite Spider long before he made it there. :(

I just leave them be, though I've been tempted to go ahead and kill the ones on their way to Windhelm. And ya, they do seem to be lost. I've ran across travelers that claimed to be heading for Solitude walking towards Winterhold. You would think Skyrim had a public school system or something given traveler's inability to read road signs.

I once met him in a dark night and decided to help him to get there. Then out of nowhere, several icewraiths attacked. Knowing there was no chance, I started to run but he dived into combat, NEREVAR GUIDE ME was the last I ever heard from him :(

I wish I could help travelers by telling them they're going the wrong way, but whatever.

Nope, I had one saying he's going to join the Stomcloaks. So I killed him then and there to save doing it later.

I saw that couple going to Labyrinthian. I wanted to see what kind of hilarity would ensue when they ran into the Frost Trolls, so I followed them. They just disappeared when they got to the steps.

Edit: I didn't read closely enough. I meant the couple who tells you about the dragon.

That guy is always lost.. and even if he dies, another guy who looks just like the first guy will be found wandering lost in a different area. The game makers must of really hated that guy to give him such a lousy script. :P

I gave them 5 gold (I wish you could give them more), and escorted them through Labryinthian. They pretty much run when the Frost Trolls show up, but they kept going as I killed them. I said goodbye and let them continue after we made it to the south side.

The only wandering farmers I have come across are the ones that want to join the Stormcloaks and the one that leaves a cow for nearby giants. Most of my characters like imperials more so I tend to take out those farmers and most of them do help out the guy with the cow.
