The ranger armor from this mod is rather nice. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6684

My pure archer wears only leather with mages hood (for looks not enchantment)
My archer/warrior hybred wears studded with hide bracers and boots, no head wear

Nightingale, usually. I usually wear Rift guard armor (the purple light armor with copper/gold chainmail) before I get Nightingale though.

I honestly play my archer/ranger clad in simple blue and gold clothes with fur boots and leather armour. He's an archer, not a hand to hand combatant. Leave that to his beastial companions.

Imperial Light Cuirass, Mage Hood, Worn Shrouded Gloves and Boots. Looks sick together and are 100% enchantable.

I'm not intentionally playing an archer, he's more like a dual wielding (sword and dagger) assassin, but I end up sniping more then half the time so I guess he counts as an archer.

I prefer to wear the Ebony Mail, modded to be light armor with a nice HD texture on it. With whatever gloves, boots and headgear I feel like wearing.

Dragonscale.... Sorry, but I need the melee protection, as he is not only an archer. I tried the Nighingale, but I wanted different enchantments. Nighingale is my favorite look of the "stock" armors ( on xbox). Also I need light armor for sneaking!

I use this personally, I wasn't that fond of many of the lower-mid light armour.

Whatever I can find in the Light Armour category, with either Dragonscale or Nightingale as end-game armour.
