As modding for Skyrim really begins to gain its stride we decided to make some significant changes around http://tesalliance.org to accommodate this exciting new wave of mod developers with style! Here are some of the new features we've added that could change the development game for your project!
New Features:
- Free Forum Hosting: Lead your own project forum and get your project organized. Forums can be public, private, or a combination of both, and the project author has full moderation powers. Hosted forums on TESA are absolutely free and will never close until requested by the project author. Utilize our ever increasing traffic to get your project name out there!
- Bug Tracking: No forum thread can beat our tracker when it comes to bug hunting. Allow testers or general users to post their issues, then assign severity, close duplicates, track your project across multiple versions throughout its lifetime.
- Team Blog: Create an ongoing dialog about your project's development, add team members as editors and share the workload, or add custom blocks and use your Team Blog as the ultimate splash page for your project.
- Project Gallery: Every Project receives an unlimited gallery for hosting project screens pre and post release, including videos!Embed your images in your blog and forums to promote your project!
- Leadership Ranks: Project leaders have special ranking on TES Alliance, including special privileges like bigger inboxes, larger group PMs, and the ability to bypass moderation when uploading.
- Custom Team Rank: Project leaders can create a unique forum tag for their team members, or request one, and we'll be happy to draft something up just for you.
- Achievements/Awards: Earn unique forum achievements for yourself by leading your project and developing it effectively. Award team medals to your team members for all their hard work too!
Not to worry, the full hosting/tacking suite can be used by modders from Morrowind, Oblivion, even Fallout 3, and New Vegas.
