I can't seem to be able to get Jzargo or Onmund to equip the Master robes of destruction I gave them. Does anyone know a way I can get them to wear it?

They'll always pick the item with the highest dur/quality.


Most of the time anyway... sometimes they pick ebony instead of steel because it's ebony(even if you have smithed the steel weapon to be better than ebony)

Im on console too, I really wish you could 'force' followers to equip what you want them too, I used arena lenith and would rather her use her beastly magic over an ebony warhammer I wanted her to carry to the shops for me like a good little mule. Plus she will only wear good armour if she has a good helmet ... take the helmet off and she prefers rubbish robes instead of dragonscale armour ?
