A great way of honoring Adam Adamowicz

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 5:06 pm

I watched the slideshow of all the artwork that he made for Skyrim and I was absolutely blown away by some of it and how a lot of it didn't make into the game. I starting to think a great way to honor this man's life and creativity would be to use this mountain of amazing artwork and to dedicate the first expansion to him and his work. It would be a great way to show that through his creativity that his legacy continues on after him.

Here is the link to the page with all of the slideshows of his amazing work

Here are a few that really impressed me

Maybe establish a gallery in Solitude to showcase his work?

That one stuck out to me as well. I really hope they incorporate these into an expansion.

I think a great way to honor him is to add him as a NPC in Sovngarde.
I dont know if that sounds stupid but.I think it sounds great.
RIP Adam.

They should make a npc named Adam to honor him, sort of like Eric the slayer, am I right?

Adam the artist. He could showcase his dragon work in Solitude, and it would show the real adam's great art.

That sounds like a great idea. :) The only hard part would be narrowing down so much good art to a number that would fit.

I definitely think a gallery of his work placed somewhere in the game in either an expansion or as an added detail in a patch would be awesome.

Not only that but I would like for some of these to actually be landscapes in an expansion.

He died? Damn. What, cancer or something?

That is sad news indeed. What a great artist. His presence will be missed, he made some great design contributions to the Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

I'm gonna watch those slide shows about his art right now.

There should be an NPC in Sovengarde, as well as a living NPC in Solitude with a museum with his works.

I think a word wall should be erected in his honor. After all, the text on most of them is a epitaph of some sort. I've been working on an epitaph for it and, give the restrictions for translating it into the dragon tongue, and transcribing it into dragon script, I came up with:

This stone commemorates Master
Adam whose passion for dreams
gave beauty to all of Tamriel

what do you think?
