i've just finished stealing plans from aela's radiant missions and when i get back to her and finish stealing plans she doesn't give me the next part of the quest that is striking the heart if im not wrong, when i try to talk to her there's no dialogue menu, she just says stuff about killing the silver hands and all of that, is there anyway to fix this bug/glitch?. please i don't know what to do

I've had trouble with the compainions myself i've noticed if you beat the hell outa them like till they kneel then fast travel elsewhere and come back they are "fixed" . This may be where you need to talk to the guy that let you into the companions in the first place to progress the storyline

i've just beat the hell out of Aela and it didn't work and when i speak to kodlak he only says crap about sovngard, by the way before speaking with kodlak i need to do striking the heart or something like that. the problem that Aela is not giving me the mission, actually she is not giving me anything

ok i've tried beating the hell out of all of them, i spoke with kodlak with vilkas and farkas and nothing happens. i read somewhere that you can wait a few days to make Aela speak to you again. is that true?

im having the same problem here, when i attack her and then yield, she gives me for second the chance to talk to her but still i can't get the striking the heart mission

i've trid that and you are right, she gives me a chance for one short time but then it disappears and she keeps talking crap about the silverhand

I completed all the Silver Hands quests this week. Never had a problem. Checked on Wiki and am quoting this: (Hope it helps)

• Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., ) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  
• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  
• On the PC, it is possible to use the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console to advance through the quest by entering setstage CR09 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest using resetquest CR09.

This quest uses the Radiant Quest System to randomly generate a target location and waypoint for the objectives. In some cases the waypoint will lead to a random spot adjacent to the designated quest location. This is caused when the player has previously killed the Silverhand leader. Currently only PC users can fix this using console commands. This happens quite frequently at http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Valtheim_Towers

i was thinking on that, maybe i killed the guys before and it's just not giving it to me for that. i heard that if you reinstall the game and wait 30 in-game days it will fix but it didin't. and i tried speaking with kodlak and he is not giving me any mission neither, but thanks for the try
