For anyone still experiencing lag

For anyone who has lag after the 1.4 update.... is it on the regular PS3 or the PS3 slim?
I was just wondering if one was less likely to experience lag.

I started a new save and re installed game data and patch with 1.4 after deleting all my old saves and game data, My save file is 4.5mb and I am lvl 22 I have began to notice some hiccups so to speak in terms of lag, occasionally in white run but i expected that much at the least, also when there is some pretty intense fight i.e. dragons or a couple of giants but no where near as bad as my previous saves, however those saves where around 16mb and i just gave up on them back in December. I have a slim ps3 160gig less than one year old. so I don't know if that helps you any.

I don;t have the slowdown as much unless i have the auto save turned on but I still get the freezing up badly. Usualy if im doing a quest and fighting a boss or dragon I get it alot and i have noticed it more after the patch . I had stopped playing becaseu I was so frustrated with it and fogot the frustration i was having and desided to play again yesterday but I could not get more than 20 minutes into the game with out a freeze. I had to shut down 5 times and after that I just gave it up. I defently don;t want to start all over after getting this far and getting all my stats up like I did but I am not sure that would even help. Thinking of just trading it in. :(

It's on both, equally, as the hardware capabilities are practically identical in every way. Why do you ask? Do you have a fat or slim?

I have a 12 month old PS3 Slim 320gb. I have only played a few games on this console since I purchased it (my old Fat console died on me YLOD), have next to no game file saves or DLC on the hard drive and I ensure it's very well ventilated and kept cool.

I have never experienced any lag in game play. I experience occaisional crashes / game freeze and bugs like we all do, just not the lag.

I'm running two Skyrim games at the moment. I have one character at level 18 and one at level 47. Apart from the loads and saves taking longer (obviously file size) I don't feel any difference in either game play.

I sympathise with those who appear to experience terrible issues with the game, because for me, this game is absolutely amazing (bugs and freezing excepted).

i do get the constant sluggishness in DB sanctuary...but recently while down there ive had absolute horrible lag to the point of single digits... it will last less then 5 sec & only happened twice but it was atrocious.... ive also noticed the HDD light working a whole lot more with 1.4...

Aww... that's cute. For me it's MOSTLY the bugs and freezing (and lag) that keep this game from not being absolutely amazing in the first place. Glad you can look past having to hard boot out of your console constantly, and occasionally running into one of the HUNDREDS of known bugs in this game.

General consensus Fat > Slim
I don't have a slim so I can't say, but I never got any game breaking lag until 90 hours in when I got moderate lag, and after 1.4 my game is running quite well asides from freezings around windhelm.
