I have been enjoying this great game so far. Just wondering :

1- I had hand to hand fights a couple of times with NPCs that invite you to duels and its...weird. I mean I can never lose one. I tried just standing without attacking and my health does not go down. I guess because it regenerates very quickly? Am I too strong?

2- Some draughrs(or whatever they are called) use Unrelenting Force shout on you. Does it have any effect on you? It does nearly nothing to me. Since they use all 3 words, it should cause you to fall on the ground. Am I wrong? Is the effect the same for you?

answer number one.... i've never tried losing a fight but i know you can't kill them in a brawl either.

answer number two.... yes you are strong, their are other draugers that you'll encounter that will knock your socks off!! i like shouting back at them and if i have a closeable gate, i like shouting them through it and then closing it behind them. man theat ticks them off!!!

1. I have lost a lot of health, and just scraqed through, but what do you expect from an unarmoured Altmer?

2. My character has been sent flying across the room, even at level 50+. Do you have the heavy armour perk, or Force without Effort?

I've had draugers knock my 81 back to Kvatch!

This is really weird. The shouts have nearly no effect on me. I have all the heavy armor perks. May be this is the reason? I can't remember if I was affected in the beginning of the game. I hope this is not a bug

So does my 81 but I don't wear heavy armor so that may be the difference

I hope it's not a bug cause its kind of fun getting knocked around it keeps you on your toes!

Yeah, it's Tower of Strength. 50% stagger reduction.

To be honest, I don't really get affected by the Draugr shouts either. I mean, some of them Fus Roh Dah me, but it just kinda staggers me like Fus would, rather than a full on HOLY COW I JUST GOT KNOCKED BACK A MILE AND A HALF effect that a Fus Roh Dah should have. Maybe it's a bug.

It's exactly the same for me. Do you also have heavy armor perks? Tower of strength?

I also may have "force without effort". They make 75% together I guess

I wonder if brawls are "rigged." I've probably fought 10 brawls and I've never come close to losing.

As for the shouts, I noticed that as my light-armor-wearing character rose in levels Draugr shouts had much less effect. By level 40 I wasn't staggering or dropping my weapon as much as I was at level 20.

Disarm certainly stops affecting you as you rise in levels.

I don't think they are, I came really close to losing a brawl one time, when I was a pretty low level.

I agree about the brawls. I've never even come close to losing one.

The only draugr that has ever knocked me over with unrelenting force were the Deathlords with a bow. One time I ran across two bow wielding deathlords and they both kept me on the ground. I never got a swing in before they killed me...so after the reload I killed them both from stealth.
