My warrior has the 100 magicka, and the Flames & Healing spells that she started the game with. She has no perks in sneak attacks and a very low Sneak skill. The weapons are shivs and pickaxes and she has no armour.

A sneak attack on Madanach will take about 1% of his health, at which point he starts hitting you with Ice Storm spells (which seem to carry the paralysis perk). Ditto dual wielding pickaxes - they're simply not doing enough damage before he kills you.

Using a spell in one hand, and a pickaxe in the other is also no use. Flames don't deal enough damage, and healing and dodging doesn't work in the confines of his cell. Try to get him out in the open and all his followers turn hostile - DEAD!.

Luckily after about a dozen deaths, and thinking the only way out was to side with him, I had a eureka moment and remembered I was a werewolf. Beast Form simply battered him before he could cast a spell and none of his followers heard the commotion - allowing me to slip out quietly.

How then is a pure warrior without Beast Form supposed to escape Cidnha Mine without helping Madanach escape?
